Río Caribe Cocoa is found in Venezuela’s North Eastern region. Itis cultivated in humid tropical forests, in mountain and flat coastal areas with a diversity of soils ranging from soils with high sand content to heavy soils.
Río Caribe is a Venezuelan coastal town founded in 1647 and is located in eastern Venezuela, on the north coast of the Paria Peninsula facing the Caribbean Sea, in the Sucre State.
Trinitarian variety is predominant in this area. Their pods have different shapes and colors, with big plump beans that have pale violet and violet colors and the occasional presence of white colors as well

Flavor
Its sensory profile shows a strong Cocoa flavor characteristic of the Trinitarians of the area; and on this flavor other notes stand out such as dried fruits, panela, malt, black fruits, red fruits, of medium acidity, all this accompanied by a balanced astringency and bitterness, leaving a remaining Cocoa flavor in the mouth.
Aromas
It has distinct Cocoa aroma, with medium acidity and low notes of fruit, tobacco, coconut and spices.
