Carenero Fine Flavor Premium
Carenero Cocoa is found in Venezuela’s Central region. It is cultivated in humid tropical forests with deep soils, in the town of Carenero, located in Brión municipality of Miranda State. According to national Cocoa production statistics, this is the second largest production area in the country
The “Carenero Superior” denomination is given to the Cocoa grown in this area. It is a Trinitarian variety with Criollo ancestry, characterized by its adequate fermentation and natural drying process in which flavors and aromas are developed with fruity notes (black and red fruits), floral, nuts, tobacco and spices on a background of Cocoa flavor that characterizes it as one of Venezuela’s best Cocoas

Sensory Analysis of Carenero Fine Flavor Cocoa, Miranda State
Flavor
It´s characterized by having a strong Cocoa flavor, with mild acidic notes, light and medium bitterness and astringency, pleasant to the palate, fruity flavor (black and red fruits), soft notes of panela, malt and wood.
Aromas
Its Cocoa aroma, black fruits, red fruits and pleasant notes of tobacco stand out.
